Panasonic has introduced its new compact system camera, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1 camera features a 16.01 Megapixel Live MOS image sensor and Venus Engine, helping to guarantee real-to-life pictures through impressive photo resolution, image rendering and color reproduction. Even in low-light conditions and at maximum ISO sensitivity (12800), the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1 can generate breathtaking digital photos and HD videos, and because of its compact body it can be easily carried for daily use. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1 system camera adopts Contrast AF for its focus system, so focusing is controlled by the image sensor.
